Everything homeowners ask before they book — pricing, timing, materials, warranties. If it’s not here, call and an installer will answer.

Check three things before you book any flooring installer: that they are licensed and insured in your state, that the person who measures your home is on the installing crew, and that the quote is a fixed number rather than a range. FIXO meets all three and gives you the number online in 60 seconds.
LVP flooring installation cost is driven by square footage, the style you pick, floor removal, baseboards and stair count. Our estimator prices all five on screen. Because material, delivery, installation, transitions and cleanup are bundled into one number, there is nothing added afterwards.
It is fixed. Express measurement confirms your square footage. If your rooms match what you described, the number does not move, and if they are smaller the number comes down. That is the whole Fixed Price Guarantee.
No. Laminate is water resistant, not waterproof. The core is wood based, so standing water will eventually swell it. If you need a truly waterproof floor for a bathroom, kitchen or basement, we install waterproof LVP instead and we will say so at measurement rather than sell you the wrong product.
Over tile, sheet vinyl, hardwood and concrete that is flat within roughly 3/16 inch over 10 feet, yes, and skipping removal saves you money. Over carpet, cushioned vinyl or an existing floating floor, no. We confirm this at the express measurement.
Most FIXO projects finish in 1 to 2 days. A single level with old floor removal is a long day. A whole home with stairs is two. Your crew brings the material with them, so there is no waiting on a delivery mid job.
Only at the start and the end. Most homeowners let the crew in, go to work and come back to a finished floor. We text progress photos through the day.
Yes. Removal and haul away is an itemized line in your quote, priced by floor type, and it includes tack strips, staples and old adhesive. If you would rather pull the carpet up yourself, we take that line off the price.

Yes, over a vapor barrier underlayment, which we include as standard below grade. It is the floor we put in our own basements. If the slab tests high for moisture we say so before you sign, because no waterproof plank survives a slab that is actively wicking.
Around 12 mil is fine for bedrooms and light traffic. 20 mil and up is what we recommend with dogs, kids or a heavily used kitchen. Wear layer is the best single predictor of how long the floor keeps looking new.
The styles we stock are chosen for realism, with embossed grain, a matte finish, long planks and enough color variation that you do not see repeats. We bring full size samples so you judge them in your own light, not under showroom lighting.
Yes. Stairs are priced per step with matching stair nosings, risers wrapped and treads cut to the skirt. Carpeted steps become finished wood look stairs in a day.
Most homes finish in 1 to 2 days. A single level with removal is a long day, a whole home with stairs is two. Your crew brings the material, so nothing stalls on a delivery.

One day for a single level including baseboard reinstall, two days for a whole home or anything with stairs. We schedule the full job in a single block rather than spreading it across a week.
Over hardwood, tile, sheet vinyl or concrete — yes, if it’s flat and dry. Not over carpet or an existing floating floor. Skipping removal takes the removal line off your quote.
The laminate we install has sealed edges and handles spills that get wiped up. It is not waterproof — a dishwasher leak will swell the core. That’s why we recommend LVP for kitchens and baths and won’t install laminate in a bathroom.
Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices and stairs — anywhere dry where you want the most convincing wood look and the hardest surface for chairs, toys and pets.
Yes. We carefully remove and reinstall your existing baseboards (included), or supply and install new ones as an itemized line. Shoe molding is an option if you’d rather leave the baseboards on the wall.
Use the 60-second quote: rooms, style, removal, stairs. You’ll see the fixed price on screen and can book express measurement from the same page.
No hidden fees. Choose your LVP or laminate, estimate your square footage and get your fixed installation price on screen — then book your express measurement.
